This single valved setup includes a louder 'race' style rear silencer for a larger upgrade in overall sound in all drive modes. The single valved setup utilises Cobra Sport's race rear silencer, which is designed to deliver optimal exhaust sound and tones in all drive modes, offering the biggest upgrade in terms of sound and styling, recording 65.9dB (+7.6dB) at idle and 88.1dB (+6.2dB) at 4000RPM, allowing the straight-6 to truly sing, delivering the emotional connection that M Performance customers expect from the factory.The twin valved quad exit performance exhaust system features a larger rear silencer and is teamed with two exhaust valves, giving the M340i a jekyll and hyde personality, in comfort mode with the exhaust valves closed the exhaust is refined - allowing the driver to eat up miles in total tranquillity. Switch to sport mode and the exhaust valves open, and you are audibly reminded that this is no ordinary 3 Series, but one which houses a powerful straight-6 powerplant. The twin valved quad exit performance exhaust recorded 61.7dB (+3.4dB) at idle and 87.8dB (+5.9dB) at 4000RPM.For those who want added audible emotion with ninja like sleeper styling, Cobra Sport offers their GPF-Back system to OEM exhaust outlets.
